In the early 70's I received seed from a German plants man, who made a seed collection. He told me of the perilous conditions Worsleya seed collectors find themselves in. The men hang suspended hundreds of meters from ropes down cliffs of the Organ mountains, where these plants grow on the vertical rock face in the sun.
